My hero, Steve.

You inspired me.

You sparked my creativity to levels I had no idea I had.

You gave me ways to say things I didn’t think I could say.

I’m going to miss you terribly.  But I promise to use all you gave.  Thank you Steve.

No really….

I love this picture.  I took it in an elevator on the way to work.  And I seriously had that look after I read an email from someone.  There really isn’t a lot of other stuff to say here.  But I love my haircut.  I feel better as I get older…and hopefully I’m getting better with age.  Grrrrr, I’m a bear!

I love it…

I took this picture on September 11th this year.  Can’t believe it’s been 10 years since that happened.  I wore my favorite New York tshirt and thought I would share it.  What do you love about your life?  I know a lot of people ask…and maybe they want to know.  But I really want to know.  I love you.  And I appreciate you stopping by.

2011…The Year of Yes!

Cupcakes are my favorite thing in the whole world. So I'm using it as the image to kick off my first blog of 2011.

Love Themed Cupcakes

This year I created to be a year where my love wins; where my natural talent shines and gives me back everything I deserve, which is everything. So far this year has been pretty awesome. I have had some things that happened like losing all my computer data this past weekend, that could have really taken me down. Instead I've worked diligintely to make sure it doesn't happen again.

This year I was also approved to lead the Introduction Leaders Program for Landmark Education and I am completely stoked about it! I've been participating at some level or another for the past 10 years and I can't think of a better way to take it to another level than to lead to larger numbers of people across the United States. For my Landmark friends, thank you for causing this to happen and for listening to me as such a huge contribution. I promise to make a difference in the world in this new capacity.

So I have so much more to share with you. But I saw the Plinky Prompt and wanted to use this as an opportunity to get back on track with blogging. Sorry for the time between articles. But it's 2011…a year of yes. So let's keep this party going!

If I Were President, I'd just keep on pressing…

God what a boring answer…I can already tell! This answer will never get me elected but here goes…

Whining is costly in this house!

I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought about this before. With so much going on in the world and in our country, it's hard to say, really, what my first priority would be. But I'd have to say that my first priority would be getting our finances sorted out. Seriously…even though I know it would not be the most popular thing, I would have to say that without knowing how much money we have and making sure we had enough to put aside for the next month/year it's hard to do much else. Now I don't want to represent that I have done this very much for my own life, but I have recently started putting aside money (a little every week) and am surprised by how much I save up. I check it from time to time and am always delighted to see how much is there.

I want to say that I so appreciate the work that President Obama has done. It wouldn't have been easy no matter who got elected. But I can really identify with coming up with great ideas and mostly having to deal with other people being the biggest obstacle to achieving what I created. It's not all as easy as we thought it would be…but I'm happy that we are moving in "A" direction.
